Version of 4 September 2026. This is an English translation provided for convenience; the French version is the binding one.
CEILINGO, a French limited company (SARL) with a share capital of €10,020, 10 rue des Artisans, 31140 Pechbonnieu, France. RCS Toulouse 799 787 288. SIRET 799 787 288 00023. Email: contact@ceilingo.fr. Telephone: +33 5 61 35 93 36.
These terms govern the sale of subscriptions to the Poids Plume software, published by CEILINGO, to business or consumer buyers. Any order placed on this website implies prior acceptance of these terms without reservation.
Poids Plume is software that gets photographs ready for the web. It is used in a browser, at poidsplume.ceilingo.fr/app/, with no installation, on any computer running a recent version of Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox. It converts images to WebP or AVIF, reduces their weight under a limit expressed in kilobytes, produces several sizes, keeps transparency, removes metadata including geolocation coordinates, applies a naming template and generates the corresponding HTML code.
Images are processed entirely in the user's browser, on the user's computer. No image and no usage data is sent to CEILINGO. A complete trial version is made available free of charge, limited to fifteen days or sixty conversions, whichever limit is reached first ending the trial.
The purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the software, for one user, for the length chosen when ordering: one month, six months or twelve months. The period runs from the date of the order or, in the case of a renewal before the end date, from the end of the current period.
The right of use takes the form of an activation key carrying its end date. The key is not tied to a particular device: the user may enter it in each browser they personally use. Reselling, lending, renting or publicly distributing the key is prohibited.
The subscription does not renew automatically. Each period is paid once, in advance. No later charge is made. Seven days before the end date, CEILINGO sends a reminder email to the address given when ordering. It is up to the user to order a new period if they wish to keep using the software. At the end date, the software stops converting images; settings, profiles and files already produced stay in place.
Software updates published during the subscription period are included.
Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included, French value added tax at 20% included. As of this version:
The full amount of the period is paid at once. CEILINGO may change its prices at any time, the applicable price being the one displayed when ordering. A price change never applies to a period already paid.
A business buyer established in another member state of the European Union and holding a valid intra-community VAT number may ask, before ordering, for a reverse-charge invoice, exempt from French VAT under article 196 of Directive 2006/112/EC.
CEILINGO may issue discount codes. Each code carries an expiry date and a maximum number of uses; it stops working as soon as either limit is reached. A code is only valid on the offers it names, cannot be combined with another code, and cannot be invoked after the order to obtain a partial refund. The discount granted appears on the invoice.
The order is placed from the form on the sales page. Payment is made by card, through PayPlug, or by PayPal. CEILINGO never has access to the buyer's card details, which are entered directly on the payment provider's secure page. No payment data is kept for any later charge.
The order is final once the payment has been received.
The activation key is sent by email to the address given when ordering, immediately after the payment is confirmed, together with the invoice. It is also shown on the confirmation page. The software is freely accessible at poidsplume.ceilingo.fr/app/, without a key; the key lifts the trial limit for the length of the subscription.
If the email does not arrive, the buyer is invited to check their spam folder and then to write to contact@ceilingo.fr. The key will be sent again free of charge.
A consumer normally has fourteen days to withdraw. However, under article L. 221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code, this right cannot be exercised for the supply of digital content not supplied on a physical medium when performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and their express waiver of the right of withdrawal.
By ticking the box provided when ordering, the buyer asks for their activation key to be supplied immediately and expressly waives their right of withdrawal. The free fifteen-day trial version allows the whole software to be tried before any payment.
CEILINGO warrants that the key delivered activates the software for the length ordered. If the key does not work and the problem cannot be solved, the buyer is refunded in full.
CEILINGO undertakes to keep the software accessible throughout any paid period. Should the service stop permanently before the end of a paid period, the unused part would be refunded pro rata.
Support is provided by email at contact@ceilingo.fr. The statutory warranties of conformity and against hidden defects apply as provided by law, independently of this commercial warranty.
The software never modifies original files: the files produced are written to the folder chosen by the user or delivered in an archive to download. It nevertheless remains the user's responsibility to keep a backup of their photographs. CEILINGO cannot be held liable for the consequences of data loss due to the absence of a backup, a hardware failure or an action of the user.
No commitment is made as to search engine ranking, which depends on factors outside the software.
Data collected when ordering is processed in accordance with the privacy policy. The email address is used to deliver the key, the invoice and the end-of-period reminder, and for nothing else.
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Consumers may use a consumer mediator free of charge. Failing agreement, the French courts have jurisdiction.
Perpetual licences sold before 4 September 2026 remain valid without time limit, under the terms in force when they were bought. They give access to the online version of the software with the same key.
